Workouts Not for loosing weight

Hello fellow blenders!

A bit of an introduction: I've known FB for several years now, and come to them any time I feel like I'll start working out regularly, but I never do, unfortunately -_- One of the reasons is not knowing where to start or whether I am doing what I should and in the correct way. I completely agree with K&D advice on "don't overthink, just start moving" for begginers...but I still tend to overthink, can't help it, that's what I do ._. So, my question today is (I have others, but I'll leave them for later):

How to choose a workout if I am not trying to lose weight?

I am naturally thin. I was never very active, but have always been thin. I don't, and I have never, restricted my diet (in total quantity). My nutrition needs to be improved in some aspects, but it's not that bad. (And before you say "you are so lucky" . . . being able to 'get away' with not eating healthy and not exercising because I don't have a visible factor to remind me, it's not that good :\) After some months of really inactive vacations, my body weight is 50kg (which is my normal), with 15% of fat, I'm in the "low fat content" zone, so does the report says, even though I know I'm not healthy because I'm inactive.

Now, one of the problems of choosing a workout program is that most are designed (or at least marketed) for weight loss. I don't want to lose fat. I understand my body will change once I start working out regularly, and I'll accept any body change that results from healthier lifestyle... But! I don't want to train with the purpose of loosing weight. So my questions are:

- What types of training techniques/styles/schemes are designed specificaly for weight loss, which I should avoid?

- Would it be ok to follow some FB workouts that are marketed for weight loss, because they'll focus on strength training anyway, and that's something everyone should be doing?

- Is there any FB information on the subject that I might have overloocked?

If someone has an input on this topic, I would really appreciate it. And if there's someone out there with the same needs regarding workout plans, I would love to know what you did, how it worked out for you, or if you are starting like I am, what are your plans.

Thank you for reading everyone! Now lets get that workout done! :D
