Sensational header. I know. But, seriously - I prefer Bulgarian Split Squats to lunges. I feel they challenge me far more. More quad activation, more glute activation, more challenge to the hip stabilizer, and a decent balance challenge for the ankle complex.
It's way harder than a lunge but I always sub it in. I might be a little crazy.
Am I crazy for this?
