FB Strong postponed, but still Roamblender fun!

Monday morning after a 9k practice run I decided that I would postpone FB Strong for at least a week. I have been doing all my regular activities as well as some extra practice runs... so I felt it was getting a bit much!!! Because of that all I do now is just morning and/or nighttime stretches and whatever the day brings.

Today started off with three and a half hours pulling up wild garlic (imagine the smell!) and ferns and other weeds off a slope as the rotivator can’t be used there. Pulling, raking and pushing a wheelbarrow with a wonky tyre up a slope. It fell over sideways.... luckily right at the moment I had got to the point where I needed to tip it over, so it ended up next to the pile rather than on top of it πŸ™ˆπŸ˜±πŸ€ͺ!

Cleaning the house was not on our list, but we thought we might as well, so we have got tomorrow to ourselves... we’ll see what takes our fancy then.

Tonight: Roamblender! Yay!! Brilliant weather, roaming around new bits of our area. We did among others: squat into sidelunges (thanks Kelli for the idea), staggered squats, pushups with t stabilization, skater jumps on the soft sand with a sprint back, wall handstand with plank jacks, ending with twofooted jumps to get to the top of the slide and of course a nice (one of us upside down) slide down! Cooldown on the beach. It took us quite a few attempts to get a (good enough) selfie! I forgot to get the smallest of our friends in, or at least one of us had our eyes closed and my hubby kept pulling funny faces... I guess the one in the pic above was the best! Oh and we were not worshipping the sunset (bottom left pic), we were doing a captain morgan with a rainbow pass....
