My One Year FB Anniversary

Wow I can't believe that I'm writing this... Today marks exactly one year since I began my first fb program (fb30) and took those photos on the top.

I took the photos on the bottom this morning. Overall I've lost 40lbs and lost three dress sizes but the biggest change has definitely been the mental change that has come from weight loss. I can now look in the mirror and love the person looking back at me.

I tried on a bikini last week and I was absolutely shocked, for the first time in my adult life I thought I looked good in a bikini! and this will be the first summer that I'm looking forward to, I can't wait to go to the pool and not be feeling extremely self conscious, I'm also trying to figure out my style since before it was always about covering up the bad parts.

I started this journey with fb30 which I did 3 times, I've also completed fb30 round 2, fb burn & fb sweat once and I'm currently in the middle of completing fb fit.

I love all of the programs and I highly recommend buying them if you haven't already. I'll forever be grateful to both Kelli and Daniel for creating fitness blender and making it so accessible, they really have changed my life.

With regards to my nutrition. I have been counting calories throughout the year and it has really helped to take the emotion out of weight loss. It became much more scientific, if you eat too many calories you'll gain weight. I use my fitness pal app to log my calories every day.

I also began meal prepping on Sunday's. I made a meal prep folder in pinterest and tried different meals, then we ended up sticking to the ones we love.We are starting to change it up now. My favourite recipe and one that I use every single day for breakfast is oat pancakes. They are so delicious that you can't believe they are healthy ;)

Having my husband onboard was probably one of the most important parts, he also does FB workouts and meal preps.

I definitely still enjoy myself, I have about 2 cheat meals every week and I definitely don't miss out on special events. I just try to build up a routine so that most days I can stick to it.

And also thanks to the Fitness blender family, I love reading all of your comments about the workouts before starting them! They really help me get in the zone and feel prepared.
