Today I was comparing my current diet to 3 years ago. I can’t believe how much my diet had changed. I wasn’t a bad eater, but I would always choose the same old grains and veggies (rice/pasta, broccoli/mushroom, yellow lentils) with chicken/eggs. There was lack of diversity.
Here is an unfinished list of foods, part of my diet staple currently, that I learned to eat from fitness blender-
Oats
Black, pinto, kidney beans
Quinoa
Chickpeas
Buckwheat
Kale
Avocado
Sweet potato
Barley
Asparagus
Dates
Tofu
The list can go on and on. I didn’t even know some of these foods’ existence! I would see them in a fitness blender recipe, google about them to understand what they are and how to cook, and then try. I didn’t like many of them (kale/avocado/beans/quinoa) in the beginning. But I trusted your recommendations, tried them again and again and eventually grew to love them.
Thank you K&D. You definitely made me a better person! ❤️
