The Dish
The famed chips and guacamole, that are always a must-order when we’re dining out, just got a little wellness makeover. Baked, cumin-seasoned, whole wheat tortilla chips boost our wellness goals and are a healthier alternative to the fried corn tortillas. We increased the fruit and veggie count by adding a tangy-fruity salsa to our guacamole. The salsa, a combination of pineapple, red bell peppers, red onion, and fresh cilantro add amazing balance and flavor to the guacamole. This is a tasty snack and well suited for sharing.
Hacking this Recipe: These baked tortillas are a great go-to snack on their own as well. If cooled completely and stored in an air-tight container, these tortilla chips will keep for well over a week.

Gluten-Free Modifications: Feel free to substitute your favorite gluten-free flatbread or tortillas for the whole wheat tortillas. Keep an eye on GF tortillas, as they may crisp faster than the flour tortillas.
